4/28/2016 0 Comments Just Do ItThis is the day that the Lord has made……I’ll rejoice if I get my promotion. What? That’s not what it says? That’s not how the phrase goes? That’s not what the Bible says? Ok. Sorry. Let me try it again. *clears throat* This is the day that the Lord has made!…we will rejoice if nothing bad happens and/or nobody gets on our nerves. Still wrong? Dag nabit! Shucks! Ok, give me one more try, k? Ummmmmm…..this is the day that the Lord has made (that’s right, right? cool)….we will rejoice & be glad in it. That’s it? That’s….that’s right? Hmmmm…that’s interesting. Why don’t we act like that then?

4/20/2016 0 Comments If You Don't Know....So, in my little law school world, it’s finals time. Finals time is full of review, therefore I’m in a “review state of mind”. No, I’m not going to give you a summary of every post written. There will be no pop quiz, but you will be tested on this. Some of you are already being tested on this. I know this because life tests our faith, our calling, our freedom, etc. all of the time. How do we pass? We remember what we’ve learned before about the God we serve. So let’s have a quick review, shall we?
4/13/2016 0 Comments Costs of the TradeLife is all about transfer. Everyday, we make exchanges or give of ourselves in one way or another. We give things like our money, energy, time, love, joy, peace, stress, thoughts, hearts, etc. all the time. I can guarantee that you gave something to somebody today. Regardless of whether you knew that person, whether you got to see/hear their reaction, or whether you know what they did with whatever you provided, you gave something to somebody today. Now, I’m not here to bash giving. Anybody who’s been to any church during offering has heard that it’s better to give than to receive, but I want to push past your giving & ask a more specific question: what are you giving? I’ve learned that sometimes, what I’m giving out is more important than the action of giving itself.
4/6/2016 0 Comments Insightful InscriptionsRandom fact: I LOVE the book of Isaiah. To me, it’s a book that reminds you who God is, and that since nothing can take Him down, nothing can keep you down. Every time that I go through it, I find something new, and flat out amazing. What’d I find this time? Glad you asked! Let’s talk about…memories….and hands. Ready? So am I….
