11/18/2015 God is About to Show Up....Today's post will be pretty quick & simple, because I've only heard one phrase in my spirit since I prayed about what to chat about with y'all today. So, let's do this, shall we? We shall...  God...is about to show up. I don't know what you're going through. I don't know your story. But something that I know, something I keep hearing in my spirit, is that God...is about to show up. You've been struggling, but God's about to show up. You've been trying to handle the burdens of life, but God's about to show up. You've been facing day after day in pain, but God's about to show up. You've been wondering if God even hears you...but God's about to show up. You've been wondering if it's even worth it...but God's about to show up. You've been set up...but God's about to show up. You've been bruised and broken...but God's about to show up. I've known God since I was about 18, but I've been watching God all of my life. I've never seen Him show up empty handed. When God shows up, He brings peace. When God shows up, He comes with joy. When God shows up, He brings life and restoration. I know this because 1 Peter 5:10 says that after you've suffered a while, He'll perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. Whatever you're missing is about to show up with God. God doesn't show up without a victory. He doesn't come with yet another reason to be in despair. He shows up, & shows out. Right in front of your enemies....God's about to show up. Just when you were ready to give up...God's about to show up. Just when you thought it was too much or too big for you...God is about to show up. Just when you thought this was how the story ended...God's about to show up. Right as you felt defeated...God's about to show up. Right as the enemy made you feel like it wasn't worth the fight...God's about to show up. Now, it's not that He's been missing this entire time. He's been watching over you & protecting you since the storm began. But when He shows up, you won't just know that He's over you, or that He's supporting you; you'll see Him fighting (and winning) on your behalf. I know it's been rough. I know you felt (and may feel) defeated. I know getting to this point has been hell, and you are tired of trying. I know part of you may believe me & the other half may not. But what you repeat to yourself is what will become your reality. That's why I'm writing this; God wants to give you a jump start. He's giving you a sneak peek of what's coming. I'm not talking about the illusion that life has given you; I'm talking about what the truth is. And the truth is that God... God of heaven. God of Abraham. God of your Big Mama. God of your spiritual mentors. God of miracles. God of deliverance. God of complete healing. God of victory. The God that has brought you this far (and trust, He didn't bring you this far to just bring you this far). That God...is about to show up on your behalf. Keep your head held high & your thoughts toward victory...because in due time, He's about to show up.
