Due to the zoonotic potential of Francisella tularensis performing a necropsy is not recommended. Send the whole à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã to the ADRDL using proper containment. If the à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã is alive, special precautions must be followed during sample collection and transport to the lab. Tissue samples should be placed in a clean container and chilled (not frozen).
