Biography
Kyle LaPorte serve as the lead clinical pharmacist in the Hematology / Transplant and Cellular Therapies clinic within the Avera Cancer Institute. It is within this space that he serves as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team by providing a variety of pharmacy and educational services to the healthcare team, the patient and caregivers in an effort to optimize collaborative, patient-centered care. He also works closely with pharmacy students and residents to educate and incorporate them into clinical care activities. Beyond his clinical role, he teaches the oncology/hematology curriculum and coordinates the oncology/hematology elective.
