Food microbiologist with over four decades of teaching and research in microbial quality and food safety. Experience of providing support to the industry in addressing microbiological challenges in food quality and safety. Trained in quality systems: Good Laboratory Practice inspector (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development recognized), lead auditor: food safety management systems (RABQSA/Exemplar Global recognized), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points implementation (DNV recognized), lead auditor: ISO 9000:2000 (IRCA recognized), lead assessor: ISO 17025 (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation/Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation recognized), master online instructor, certified.
