Oline O'Banion

Oline O鈥橞anion was recognized as Master Farm Homemaker by The Farmer鈥檚 Wife of St. Paul, Minnesota and by South 啵啵直播秀 State College during Farm and Home Week in 1928.
O鈥滲anion was born in South 啵啵直播秀, attended public school through the eighth grade then took a business course and was a stenographer for a number of years.
The O鈥橞anions owned 120 acres of diversified farming land near Canton. Even in 1928 their farm home was fully equipped with running water and electric lights and appliances.
O鈥橞anion鈥檚 chief farming project was that of raising poultry. Her leisure hours were spent reading and doing fancy work.
The O鈥橞anions raised four children, all of whom finished high school. One son attended the University of Minnesota.
O鈥橞anion organized the Canton Progressive Club and was its first president. She was a member of the Congregational Church, Ladies鈥 Aid, choir and served as assistant teach of the Congregational Bible Class.
