Testimonial – Paragraph Component

Use the testimonial paragraph component to spotlight a quote, student experience or feedback with an option to include a photo or video.

When to use it
  • Visually spruce up quote content with media and links.
  • Promote a news story, student experience, faculty research, historic information, etc.
  • Break up the content.
  • Add style.
Where to use it
  • Can be used both inside/outside in a normal group.
  • Use inside normal group only.
Features
  • You can add images or videos. Horizontal images work best for layout.
  • Include the quote, along with the name and title of the person.
  • Content can be left- or right-aligned.
  • Include call to action links.
  • Quotes displayed outside a group use a bone background, while those within a group have a white background.

How to Add – Testimonial Paragraph Component

  1. Log into Drupal.
  2. Go to page you wish to edit.
  3. Click on + sign to enter a new paragraph inside or outside of a group.
    1. Click on + sign and add a "Group" first, if putting content inside of a group.
  4. Choose Testimonial paragraph.
  5. Complete the form details.
    1. Quote: Required
    2. Name: Required
      1. Name will appear in bold.
    3. Title: Optional
  6. Choose alignment: Right, left or center
    1. Center alignment: The image or video will appear to the right of the text.
  7. Click the carrot icon to expand Media section. Add Media Type: Optional
    1. Choose between image or video.
  8. Link: Optional
  9. Click Save before exiting the paragraph.
  10. Save page as "In progress" or "Ready to Review."
