Each year over 8,000 pounds of cheese is produced by dairy and food science students and cut, packaged and sold by Dairy Club members throughout the fall semester.

Holiday Cheese Box Sales

The cheese box fundraiser throughout the holiday season is the Dairy Club's largest fundraiser. If you forgot to order you can stop by the SDSU Dairy Bar Dec. 11-17, 2025, and order one for pickup. The club’s cheese boxes can be shipped to any of the continental states.

Thanks to cheese box sales, we:
  • à£à£Ö±²¥Ðãed $10,000 in scholarships to dairy science and non-dairy science members who are actively involved in the Dairy Club.
  • Published the Dairy Club’s yearbook, The Dairy Digest. The digest is sent to the department’s alumni, parents, friends and throughout the dairy industry.
  • Attended dairy-related events including the Central Plains Dairy Expo, World Dairy Expo and Ag Day in Sioux Falls.
  • Dairy Club was able to plan a trip for 26 members to travel to Puerto Rico to learn about the dairy and agriculture industry there.
