All bulk mailings that are using SDSU's Permit 24 must have completed a Services Work Order form and must be approved prior to ensure sufficient funds are available for the mailing.
Campus addressing – SDSU utilizes box numbers within our unique zip code 57007 and should be included in your address. The unlisted 911 address should not be listed as your mailing or shipping address; we do have these available for vendor address verification purposes only. Major shippers, including Amazon, have been instructed to only deliver to the Customer Service Center, 1451 Stadium Road. If you have any problems with addressing, please contact us.

Important mailing information
Here are a few helpful reminders about mailing letters and shipping packages properly. These tips will help to avoid delays in processing.
U. S. Postal Service:
- Use Metered Postage form and fill out completely including your name, phone number and correct account number. We use these forms in the event there are any issues or discrepancies with the mailing.
- Open flaps and nest envelopes if they need to be sealed through the mailing machines; they must be facing the same direction, flaps up and open. If they are press-and-seal envelopes, they must be sealed before they arrive and separated out from the rest.
- Any handwritten addresses must be separated from the typed addresses.
- All mailing pieces must be facing the same direction.
Domestic, international and campus mail need to be sorted separately. We have had some campus mail that went through the mail machines since they were bundled in with the outgoing mail.
Please note: Labor time will be added to the mailing if the Customer Service Center staff need to sort through and rearrange mailings.
FedEx and UPS shipping:
- Fill out the FedEx form or UPS form completely including your name, phone number, recipients phone number and correct account number.
FedEx Express and International forms are available at the Facilities and Services Customer Service Center.
For any package to be mailed, preprinted boxes must be used for that service listed on the box; if the box states Priority Express, it cannot be crossed out and used to mail nonpriority. FedEx and UPS boxes must be used for their respective service.
