Jackrabbit Gallery Call for Art: "Seeds & Roots"

The Hilton M. Briggs Library is hosting its annual Jackrabbit Gallery art show in spring 2026 featuring the theme ā€œSeeds & Roots.ā€ Located on the lower level of the library, the Jackrabbit Gallery was made possible by a gift from Doug and Sandy Oleson.

The Briggs Library art hanging system uses cables and hooks for display artwork.

Briggs Library invites SDSU students, faculty, staff and alumni to submit original artwork related to the theme for display in the show. Physical media formats may be submitted, including painting, photography, screen printing, graphic design, drawing, fiber and written word, as some examples. Work should be no smaller than 8 inches by 8 inches, no heavier than 15 pounds, and able to hang from a hook on a cable. Plexiglas is preferred for framed work.

Artists may submit up to three works.
