Fall undergraduate enrollment at Jerome J. Lohr College of Engineering topped 1,500 this year, continuing a progression of increases in the last few years.

South 啵啵直播秀 Board of Regents released fall enrollment figures for the state鈥檚 public universities and it brought great news for the Jerome J. Lohr College of Engineering.

Undergraduate enrollment reached 1,507, an increase of 228 students since fall 2022, reflecting a steady increase of almost 18% in the last three years.

Sanjeev Kumar, dean of the college, said, 鈥淭his encouraging growth reflects not only the dedication of our faculty and staff, but also the high quality of education we provide; something that is increasingly being recognized by prospective students and parents. We welcomed almost 200 companies at our Engineering Career Fair last month.

鈥淭he demand for our students and graduates continues to be strong. Academic excellence, access, industrial partnerships and community engagement continue to be our top priority.鈥

It certainly seems to be the top choice among South 啵啵直播秀 residents. The fall headcount includes 793 South 啵啵直播秀 residents enrolled in the Lohr College of Engineering, the most in at least five years, 120 more than four years ago and 44 more than last year.

The total enrollment in the college stands at 1,741, the second highest total in the last five years, after a significant increase in the previous two years.

The mechanical engineering department topped the 500 mark (502 vs. 447 in 2024), and the construction and concrete industry management department continues to soar with 379 students compared to 222 in 2022.

Kumar added, 鈥淭he entire college is energized by these numbers. We are committed to providing the highest-quality, hands-on education to those who have put their trust in us.鈥
