August 21 NSO Schedule

Day of Schedule (subject to change)

  • Prior to first session
    • Check in, light dessert provided, interaction with orientation staff on University Student Union Main Street
  • 1:45 p.m.: Welcome event
    • Get excited for your day and learn to navigate New Student Orientation!
  • 2 p.m. (Students): Advising and registration: Spend time building your course schedule for fall and spring with the help of academic advisors and faculty.
  • 2 p.m. (Family/parents/guests) Take a deeper dive on ways SDSU supports your student, as well as discussion on other transition topics.
  • 1:30-5 p.m.: Placement Testing as needed
