Permit Information
General Information
All SDSU parking facilities, except pay-to-park lots and spaces, require a parking permit between the hours of 7 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Individuals may park without permits from 4 p.m.-2 a.m. Monday-Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday with the exception of 2-5 a.m. There is no parking on campus in any nonresidential lot from 2-5 a.m.
Resident guests must obtain a resident guest permit from the front desk of whichever residence hall they are staying in and need to park in a residential lot. Student hosts may be held responsible for guest infractions.
Permits are limited to one per customer, i.e. resident students are allowed only one resident permit (SER/NWR/X176/SEN) corresponding to their housing "district." Reminder that only one vehicle per permit is allowed to park on campus at any given time.
Accessibility stalls, loading/unloading zones, assigned service vehicle stalls and 20-minute stalls are enforced all day, every day.
Parking permits are the property of South à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã State University and are issued to a specific individual. Ownership is not transferable. By obtaining a parking permit, the permit holder agrees to become familiar with and abide by the parking regulations.
The fees paid for permits are registration fees and do not reserve or guarantee a parking stall in specific parking lots. Reserved permits are sold on a 1:1 ratio and therefore do guarantee a parking stall. Lack of a parking space is not considered a valid excuse for violation of parking regulations.
