Math Help Center

The Math Help Center provides free walk-in tutoring for students at SDState taking MATH 101, 103, 114, 115, 120, 121, 123, 125 and STAT 281 (when qualified tutors are available). The Math Help Center is located in the Chicoine Architecture, Mathematics and Engineering Hall, Room 292.

Walk-in tutoring hours for spring 2025 starting Jan. 14:

  • Monday through Thursday, noon-6 p.m.
  • Friday, noon-4 p.m.

STAT 281 Hours starting Jan. 21:
Help in STAT 281 is available on a walk-in basis when a statistics-qualified tutor is available. These are the tentative hours for spring 2025:

  • Monday and Wednesday, 1-4 p.m.
  • Tuesday and Thursday, noon-6 p.m.
