Math Help Center

The Math Help Center provides free walk-in tutoring for students at SDState taking MATH 101, 103, 114, 115, 120, 121, 123, 125 and STAT 281 (when qualified tutors are available). The Math Help Center is located in the Chicoine Architecture, Mathematics and Engineering Hall Room 292.

Now providing tutoring both by appointment and on a walk-in basis.

Fall 2025: Walk-in Tutoring Hour

  • Mondays to Thursdays: noon-6 p.m.
  • Fridays: noon-4 p.m.

The center is closed whenever classes are canceled.

Fall 2025: STAT 281 Hours

Help in STAT 281 is available in the Math Help Center on a walk-in basis when a statistics-qualified tutor is available. These are the current hours when at tutor for STAT 281 is available:

  • Mondays and Tuesdays: noon-6 p.m.
  • Wednesdays: 1-6 p.m.
  • Thursdays: noon-6 p.m.
  • Fridays: 1-4 p.m.
