Academic Advising

For course placement and registration, campus adjustment support, Banner Student/Self-Support training:

  • First Stop provides links and videos with information for all current students regarding registration and planning, grades and transcripts, student success, campus resources and financial support.
  • Academic advising for online students varies by department and major. See Continuing and Distance Education.
  • First-year students in a program other than the two-year ag science program, prenursing, biology preprofessional and prepharmacy will be advised in the First Year Advising Center.

American Indian Student Center

Food Insecurity

Jack's Cupboard offers students free food if they are struggling to pay for food on their own. Donations are proudly provided by SDState students, faculty and staff.

Visit Jack's Cupboard, located on the southeast side of Ben Reifel Hall with free 20-minute parking spaces available. Open Wednesdays from 3-5 p.m.

Fraternity and Sorority Life at SDSU (formerly Greek Life)

Fraternity and Sorority Life at SDSU allows you to make social connections, join in campus and community service projects.

Math Help Center

Modern Language Round Table

If you are enrolled in any level of Spanish, German and French, you can practice your conversation skills and/or seek help for homework doubts and difficulties in round table sessions. The Modern Language Round Table is located in Lincoln Hall. Call 605-688-5101 with questions.

Multicultural Center

The Office of Multicultural Affairs and Accessibility has a wide variety of supports and programs available to all SDSU students. The office is housed within the Multicultural Center, located in Room 271 of the University Student Union. Its resources include two student success advisors, accommodation services for students with identified disabilities, the National Student Exchange Program, as well as events put on by both the office and the four student organizations housed within the Multicultural Center.

MyState/Self Service

is the student portal, which provides you access to Self Service access for registration, financial aid, student bill and Jacks email.

It is also the place for students to communicate with faculty, advisers and SDState staff as well as find campus news, events and messages.

Music, Theatre and Dance Programs

Opportunities include vocal and instrumental music for credit or co-curricular activity and The Pride of the à£à£Ö±²¥Ðãs Marching Band.

National Student Exchange

The National Student Exchange allows you to take new courses, see new places, make new friends and enroll in academic options that may not be available at SDSU.
